Time Limits & Eligibility

Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt.

The goods must be unused, in the same condition as received, and include original packaging, components, labels, instructions, etc

Made-to-measure, bespoke, or custom-built items (e.g. garden buildings, sheds, bespoke panels and gates ) are non-returnable / non-refundable.

Sale items are usually not refundable.
Return Process & Costs

The customer bears the cost of returning the item (shipping) unless the return is due to Atkinsons’ error or fault.

Shipping (return postage) is not refundable and is deducted from the refund.

Returns should be sent to Atkinsons Fencing Ltd, Green Lane, Cutsyke, Castleford, West Yorkshire WF10 5JL.

The returned goods must clearly show the order number.
Inspection, Approval & Refunds

After receiving the return, Atkinsons inspects the goods and notifies the customer whether the return is approved.

If approved, a refund is processed to the original payment method.

If the returned goods are not in “saleable condition” (e.g. damaged, missing parts, used), the refund may be reduced or denied.

Returns or cancellations are subject to an administration fee: 20% of order up to £50
Damaged or Faulty Goods

If goods arrive damaged or are found to be faulty, the customer should notify Atkinsons within 48 hours of delivery.

For large items, Atkinsons may arrange collection of faulty goods; for smaller items, the customer may need to return them.

The customer is entitled to replacement goods or full credit, excluding delivery costs.
Cancellation Rights Excluding Made To Order Items (Distance Selling)

For internet, mail-order, or phone orders, the buyer has a right to cancel by notifying Atkinsons in writing or by email within 5 days of receipt.

After cancellation, goods must be returned and a refund processed (excluding delivery cost) with the customer paying for return postage.
